Album Info:

In the village of Fruitport you will find a beautiful pear tree. Can you believe this pear tree is a sculpture, and not real. It is just beautiful and looks so realistic. I just love the bench and the flowers all around it. It's calling us to sit for a spell.

    • Ah, this is awesome. Being the arborist I am, I am always eager to ID trees. At first glance my thought was I think it is a pear but a very unusual and beautiful one. Then I saw the fantastic sheen of light on the edge of the fruit

    • I think I could do with some like this in my garden. It is starting to look a bit worse for wear with the water restrictions.

    • So pretty indeed! Very realistic, you're right. Such an artist made it, and how bautifully it's setting among nature. Lovely place. Claudia

    • In the regular view it is hard to tell that it is a sculpture but in the full screen mode it looks like it might not be real - especially in the trunk. Did you know that there is a horse in that tree?

    • No, if you don't say anything about this tree I thought it is real. Beautiful place to rest on a bench.

    • Gorgeous setting. No, I'd not have known it wasn't real except for your caption. Great shot - I like the composition here. - DeeAnne

    • Now I know why our pears are so hard when we buy them! They have quite obviously come from this tree. This must be the most educational group in Webshots!!
