This is almost the way these heavy snowfalls really look, color or not, with the world a neutral grey hue until the sun comes out again. I certainly like your shot and its composition with the branches as a frame. (But please, not yet ... give us a few more months before we get hit with this stuff!).

First, thanks for the comment on my gnarly "solitude" trees shot and the heads up on the CC tag fowl up. This is a great bw shot. Snow & winter shots always lend themselves well to b&w with the bright, white snow and dramatic contrasts.
