I painted that before a world tour trip in which we prepared to visit this place; My desire of Japan and of Mt Fuji was so great that I made this very difficult water painting from a travel brochure picture as always directly with water and colours without any preliminary pencil drawing. This painting has been awarded several times and has been asked many times for sell; But when you love your child, you cannot sell it! Sizes painting: 28,4cm x 19,8cm, sizes framed: 50cm x 40cm, it is a large water-colour, larger it is, more difficult to master the paper deformation with water so the execution must be very quick! If I sold it, price should be around 2,500$ (said by Art Expert for insurance).

Mount Fuji or as the Japanese call it 'Fuji san' is an icon for every one in Japan. You have recreated this with great artistry. Love the details and the execution of the pine branches and leaves. A hallmark of a classical oriental painting.
