It was sad but exciting to watch this being removed as it was almost three years of waiting. Now we wait for the new clubhouse.

    • Great capture of the machine here. A long wait for the clubhouse, but they will proceed quickly now.

    • I saw a lot of that in our old 55 plus community. But it was still depressing to watch. That's why we left when we did. Too many old people who were left wandering what to do and where to go. We were lucky. We had the wherewithall to get out. Others didn't, they expected to end their lives there.

    • Demolition always draws a crowd--there is a certain excitement to it. My husband would love to drive one of these pieces of machinery just for the thrill of it. I think he'd like to move dirt though--not demolish buildings. :-) Hugs, Sharon

    • Amazing how simple these machines can tear down a building. Sad to see the old structure go, but I imagine it's for the best.

    • I like the angle on this one showing the scale of the demolition equipment.
