In February when I took this shot from one of our second floor lanai's, the sun was skipping horizontally through the trees briefly each day, with daylight only 4-5 hours. Currently, mid April we have 17 hours of daylight, and very soon, within weeks, there will be daylight 24 hours a day, here in the land of the midnight sun!
