Built in 1875 by Captain WIlliam Robinson, the White River Light Station now serves as a physical reminder of the rich nautical history of Michigan. You can climb the spiral staircase to the top of the light house tower and look out across Lake Michigan as the light house Keeper did a century ago.

LOVE lighthouses. About the time you get BACK to Michigan I'll be heading to your part of the country.. ie: Chicago and Wisconsin. I have a lot of family back that way including a 93 yr. Old grandma I haven't seen in 3 years.
