Album Info:

Built in 1976 it was nicknamed the "Warthog." The 'hog' is 53'4" long, 14"8" high, wingspan is 57"6", speed is 420 mph, max. weight 51,000 pounds, and all this is operated by one crew person. Taking these photos was wonderful because it gave me a chance to see just what my new E500 could do. Love that camera.

    • The good ole A-10 "Tank Killer". Never used in combat until Desert Storm. Provide reliable, durable, and effective. I remember one landing in Saudi Arabia before I retired that had lost half a wing and it was NOT a crash landing. Thanks for the show. Happy Snappin -Andy-

    • Great shot, Mary Ann! I love your new camera too. This looks like a lumpy plane and rather awkward. Guess it got the job done. Wonderful show you gave us this week. Greetings and hugs from, OKLAHOMA. Susie
