Album Info:

CREDITING WORK AND ASKING FOR YOUR HELP IN INFORMATION QUALITY IMPROVEMENT - Images acquired after 29 September 2008 will include source information.* If I’m violating your interests or copyright, please contact me with a message. I will either delete the image or, preferably, attribute it to you (and add a link to your site as well). I DELETE CONTESTED IMAGES PROMPTLY, but may follow up with an inquiry.*** If there is something amiss, such as mis-identification or other errors, please send me a note so I can correct the problem.* I often cannot list the date and/or artist and/or subject because I don’t know it. Please advise me if you know of the date, artist, or subject for an image when I don’t list that information. I’ll add the information you provide and attribute the source of the information to you.*** COURTESY REQUEST - Just a few of these images are original and none are copyrighted, but I have made the effort to assemble the images for use. PLEASE CREDIT THIS SITE if you post one of these images on a forum or blog.*** DO YOU WANT TO UPLOAD AN IMAGE? Step 1 - Join Webshots! Step 2 - Once you have joined Webshots, go to the "make friends" button at the bottom of my "albums" page and click there. A screen will open allowing you to send me a quick note. Step 3 - (After I make you a friend) you can upload any image from all but one of my albums. Click on any image and a dialog box will appear allowing you to enlarge that image or to download that image.*** USING TAGS - If you see something and you want to track it through other images and times, like "bracelets," see if the image is tagged with that word. Click on the tag ("bracelets" in this case) and see other images where the tag was also used.*** This image expands when opened.*** The farthingale is gone but the ruff, false sleeves, and cuffs are still 1500s-style. Her headdress is spectacular with a lace blossom over a broad attifet. The ruff and cuffs are punta del aire lace, but the lace makes up the entire ruff and cuffs instead of just the fringes. Her shoes are also adorned with lace.
