Now this is the part I didn't like so much when we lived in Montana. We had a 105 year old cottonwood tree and every fall we would have to rake up about 9 or 10 bags of leaves a day for about two weeks. I would always be so grateful for that last leaf to fall. But now I sure miss the fall colors.
I assume you have your rake in hand for the giant cleanup. At our other home, we only had a few trees (ornamental) and raking our own leaves really wasn't much of an issue. The neighbors leaves were often the ones that filled our yard. Nice capture, Peeter.
I like the pattern captured in this "Autumn ground". Browns and greens well captured with the right natural Sun light. Greetings from Portugal. Carlos.

The leaves have fallen, but they can still provide nourishment to the soil next spring.
