Guests will also enjoy the opportunity of bidding on an extraordinary range of items through a live and silent auction with a sampling that includes music memorabilia (such as a signed guitar by Sarah MacLachlan), premium sports tickets, fine art, a Muskoka getaway, Margaret Atwood signed books, as well as donations from Grassroots, Lululemon, Frog Pond Vineyards, and many other Canadian businesses. The Naked Ape Party will donate $5 from every ticket purchased to New Leaf Yoga Foundation, a non-profit organization, making yoga and meditation accessible to at risk and incarcerated youth across Canada, including people living in shelters, recovering from addictions and living in poverty. The remaining proceeds raised during the evening will be donated to the David Suzuki Foundation, an organization focused on finding ways for society to live in balance with the natural world that sustains us.
