Out front we have a wren bird house, which now has a Chickadee family inside. Chickadee's are only about 4-5 inches long and are super fast. This is best viewed full screen.

Ahhh, what a wonderful picture. The parents work so hard for a few weeks to keep the babies fed. Hopefully they come back occasionally to visit the parents and tell them thanks for all they did.

Lunch is served! I have numerous chickadees around my place and love them. They're always cheerful, brave and energetic. Excellent shot - full size is awesome.

We have the Carolina Chickadees. And they can be super fast but they have gotten so used to us that they scold if we are standing up. Once we sit down they take over.

Aren't they the cutest little things they are one of my favorites. We have the Carolina Chickadee & I think ours are just barely 4 inches & they look even smaller compared to the rest of the birds in my yard. I love to watch them. This is a super duper shot, I have never seen them with a bug before! Love those shiny big black eyes. Hugs, Bonnie

What a great capture! We have some wren bird houses in our back yard and my husband, Bob, keeps wanting the Chickadees to built a nest in one of them. This year, no one has wanted to make a home in them. But I hear a wren singing in our dogwood tree, so maybe it's nesting in the neighbor's wren bird house. :-) Again, just a perfect photo.
