Russia after Peter the Great was ruled by a so-so Tsaritsa (Anna), two good ones (Catherine I and Elizabeth), and a great one (Catherine II the Great). They're covered in a separate album. This appears to be Elizabeth just before her accession to the throne in 1741. She knows how to dress as a European lady with Russian extravagance.
