She was born in Shanghai China, and immigrated to the United States 1989. She earned her B.A. in Film and Television Production from California State University at Sacramento and studied vocal performance at the University of the Pacific with Professor George Buckbee. Multi-talented, Ms. Chen has performed in several community theater productions in the Sacramento area and has the experience of working in television productions as well. She is the stage designer. She will soon begin her graduate study toward fulfilling her dream of becoming a film director.
