This is a real photo of a harmless, but rather large spider found in a hay barn in Albany, Georgia on Sep. 15th. 2007 at 10:05 am. The hand, behind the net, is that of our 21 year old daughter, Elizabeth Cummings, who is 5 foot 11 inches tall. Her hand is 2 inches behind the net of the arachnid, which I believe to be an Orb Spider Female. The camera was about 6 inches away from the spider. Charming Specimin, wouldn't you agree?
