Congratulations, Monica, on your inclusion in the Editor's Collection on Climate Change. This is a stark reminder of what may very well lie ahead if we don't come together and fix the many problems facing the planet today. Brilliant! Fred

Congratulations Monica, you did a really great job in this challenge. I liked all of your entries. Hard to believe that was just a little over six months after the hurricane. Those palms still look like they are under seige

Congratulations on your selection as a top three winner in the Climate Challenge. My daughter and son-in-law lost EVERYTHING in the Katrina misery, but have bounced back like the true winners they are (now living in West Virginia, away from any hurricane activity). Thanks for this cogent reminder. Fred

Nice Shot, but I'm confused! How much tequila did you imbibe? Katrina in 2006 hit Florida then the area around New Orleans didn't it? It was Wilma late in October of the same year that hit the Cancun/Playa del Carmen coast. Wilma did way more damage than was reported, and Cancun lost most of its beach, and Cozumel much of its beautiful coral banks.
