This is a basic and easy to understand presentation of the Rule of Thirds, thought by many photographers (not just people with fancy cameras taking pictures of pretty things) to be one of the most powerful rules of composition (where to put things in a frame/picture). My hope is that this is an aid to you and you can enjoy one of the great rules of art form. Ansel Adams may have said there are no rules, but every picture he has is rife with the rules of successful imagery. I have nothing to gain here, so no need to tell me how smart you are if you don't like rules. Nor do I need anyone to pat me on the back. This is just an offering. Take it or leave it. I just hope it becomes a blessing to your photo albums and enjoyment as you peer through your viewfinders.
