Lois, I love this! I am surprised no one has found this lovely photograph. You could almost have submitted it for the sepia challenge a few weeks ago.

I've worn out a bunch of these, Lois. Very cool. Good luck with this wonderful "portrait." It IS the blink of an eye, isn't it? My youngest granddaughter, 9.5 months, just started walking, so this progression now starts for her. Thanks. Fred

Hello there to such a kind lady! I was away visiting my parents and just got your message today. I followed your advice, and FOUND IT!! You are so kind to do that for me. I needed a good lift after wrecking my car. But I am thankful I was not severly injured. The other guy crossed the median and I thought I died, honestly. Your profile sounds a lot like mine now that I am retired from Nursing. I had a long career and now love my writing and photography. I cannot thank you enough--to go through the trouble to find that photo was a wonderful gesture. I love this album of yours, you have a terrific imagination and are so creative. I think I have visited this picture before....but each time I come back to your albums, it strikes me as something very special....and the larger I get it (to my 30" monitor) the more impressionistic it gets. Like a painting from Van Gogh....The lighting, contrast....something about this shot that is worthy of a huge pice of photo print paper and a spot on a living room wall, perhaps a museum....I am just continually atracted to it. And the larger I get it, the better it looks!

I was looking at your very fine Corfu photo, and saw the thumbnail for this peeking out at the bottom of the screen. I couldn't resist a further look. Anyone who has had children whose shoes looked like those - and I'm sure there are many - must experience this as a very evocative image. And what a contrast - the old "Stride-Rite" type shoe construction juxtaposed with the far more contemporary Skechers. Two different worlds - and as others have observed, some digital manipulation that adds to the ambience and feeling, rather than distracting. Print it, frame it, and put it in a boutique on commission!

Very artistic . Very good use of filters . Most people can't use filters effectively but you really did a great job . Love the color tones as well , it's all outstanding .
