This Snowy Egret might look big but it really isn't, It sits on a piling all the time and watches everything that is going on.

    • What a beauty! This pure white soft plumage against this blue sky, the wooden(?)brown construction, the green leaves colourful shot. Magnificent Egret and superb photo. Greetings and hugs from Italy. Claudia

    • Hi Mary Ann! This Snowy Egret doesn't have a dirty spot on him. I guess he knew he was going to have his photo taken! :-) I just love birds of all sizes.

    • Hi Mary Ann! OMG, I have a lot of catching up to do on your site. I am so sorry I missed you the past two weeks. I try very hard to make sure I catch everyone, so I don't know how it happened but it was sure not intentional, as I enjoy your captures a lot. We are growing to be quite a large group. I enjoy the group, and the photography emmsley. A warm caring group who are a lot of fun to correspond with, like a growing family, that gets so large you have a time remembering all the cousins names. With that said, I must comment on this beautiful image. What a pure white bird, I can see as Antti pointed out he has a hostile look to him, I think it is those eyes. Great capture, with the white Snowy Egret and the beautiful blue skies. I envy you the Florida weather, it looks warm there. Hugs and greetings from, OKLAHOMA. Susie
