I think this camera actually came to us by way of my wife's grandmother. The man in this shot was the subject of a book named "The Lost Amazon", by Wade Davis. Richard Schultes was also a photographer and traveled through part of Peru (my home for 6 years as a kid) studying the people and plants of the area. It is an incredible book, and part of my history, which I so deeply treasure. On page 30 is a plane, one of which I got to copilot at the age of 19. It is a PBY Catalina from WW2 vintage.
