I do so love linear images and prefer portrait shots, as well as enjoying black and white monochromatic photos for the colours are sometimes so distracting from the light, form and patterns of an image, and you have combined all those elements within this one masterful photograph!! It is very beautiful and deeply compelling. There are long straight lines, shadow play and contrasting diamonds receding into the distance drawing the eye into the image to the corridor beyond creating depth, with vertical lines and arches over the windows, triangular shapes and rectangles with the vaulted ceiling above and the entire vision is wonderfully softened and balanced with the rows of round lamp globes!! I love this image Marita, it is fantastic!! Sharon
