This is the reason I have been too busy and worried to be a good webbee for a few weeks!Our boat (salvaged 37 ft irwin sailboat Sarah)broke anchor and drifted ashore and sunk in 3 ft of water!Thats her behind that big ugly managerie.(on the left)

  • Deb, sorry to hear about your misfortune with your boat, but pleased to see she is up again. Looking forward to the photos and story about it all when you get time. I have been looking for your photos,as you were the one who got me started and keen on Photography again with your splendid encouraging coments many months back. Never got to find the three a week column you suggested,although found, and trying to get a few in the creative challenge each week and having fun doing so.   • Ben will get her cleaned up and running.. hes a diesel mechanic(A very good one at that) and hes the one whose been taking care of her for a good 2/3 years Hes the one who went up the saint lucie locks across lake okeechobee in a hurricane to save her. The Sarah is the largest sailboat out in our anchorage.not a houseboat she is considered a yacht a vessel not a boat she has 2 staterooms a galley and 2 heads(bathrooms) Im looking for the interior pics and when I get them together I will make an albumn of her .Shes worth all the headaches.. and is much larger than a moterhome as she is wide!I lovingly say she has child bearing hips..lol shes not really mine on paper as yet I have a partner Valerie Walsh.I however am the interior caretaker.Its sorta fun...altho I complain alot I'm proud to say I'm just part of her..Shes been all over the world.She is documented..We are trying to register her in fla.as we speak but we have to undocument her first!Sarah is one on the rocks in this pboto.That big menagerie there is a houseboat and is home to a man his wife and 2 babies.its an eyesore but to each his own.Sarah might be an eyesore to some but they don't know how fun it is motering slowly down the river on her.Besides shes floating in my front yard(so to speak lol) where I live and I get to watch her and picture her every day all day.Shes my favorite obsession lol!
