"Preventive war was an invention of Hitler. Frankly, I would not even listen to anyone seriously that came and talked about such a thing." -- President Dwight D. Eisenhower, 1953

Let us hope to Tillich we don't revisit dejavu and lave poor Chad up there dangling and hanging around for any recounts of recounted recounts of simple punch cards. There's an old saying that goes something like this, "Fool me once...shame on...you. Fool me twice.................... ...............can't get fooled again". Ooh, wait, this was my point; "none of us are as dumb as all of us". Too many factoids? oo much nonsnsical drivel? My apologies. It 'tis St. Patty's Day tis evenin, an vat tis a Finlander to do? Aye, crickey, pass me 'tnother pint o dat wodka, eh.

I am now suspecting a theif. That deskal fan looks awfully similar to the one that is now missing from my desk. But I digress. Seems James is a collector of not only black in color, but multi-colored 3-ring binders. Symbolism for the fray into which James is campaigning for, a 3 ring circus? The clear plastic "water" bottle knowingly filled with Vodka has deep meaning, shaken not stirred as it were. James likes to "shake things up" rather than "stir the pot". A great campaign of cliches. wow, there is a lot of old technology here amungst the new. The quintessential technoman? Or, dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century? Circa 1902 typewriter is our biggest clue. The myriad of VHS tapes is the other. somebody, please clue in our omegaman about the invention of CD and DVD's. I'm suspecting under the VHS stack we'll find an errant Betamax. Not sure why James would need that pillowy down coat heaped on his chair. This is the thing that bothers me most. What is a down parka doing south of 45th parallel? A blue sharpie and red scissors, is James confused about whether his state of mind is red or blue, or, is this a coinsidence? Time shall tell. What this shall be, I haven't a clue. Another troublesome spot is the deskal space itself. Too much fen shway too organized, too clean. The only real scense of work here is that little pink clock that is keeping time for the noon-time shaking of that "water" bottle. these are the basic facts that I can find on a first albeit breif glance. I shall no go to the link and send in my nonmonetary candidacy endorsement contribution for the man of choice. The only real sensical choice, James Tillich.

I spy with my litle eye...You and James are one in the same! Possibly ex-Navy aviator, definitely an aeorspace afficianado, read "Harvest Of Sorrow", have a stuffed Wile E. Coyote, enjoy the punishing antiquity of manual typewriters (masochistic, quite possibly), have a binder fetish, collect wide-brimmed hats to shield eyes from glaring post-apocalyptic sun,and by the papers on the desk, it looks like you study the quasi-science of phrenology (hah!). Young dead Tutankhamen watches over you, suggesting you are a neo-Aegyptophile, and (get this Watson!), you are cross-eyed, needing two computer screens with which to view your photographs! The mystery is solved! Phew! Down to the pub for a pint, I'm spent!

Is anybody out there? "Is anybody receiving me."--see Zac Hobson in the New Zealand sci fi film, "The Quiet Earth" about the last person left on the planet, a scenario I can relate to...so
