The high-piled coiffure and emphasis on the shoulders put this in the late 1820s. She wears a panel bodice and sheer sleeves.*** Eugenie Hortense Auguste Napoleon de Beauharnais. Daughter of Alexandre, Vicomte de Beauharnais and of his wife Josephine Tascher de la Pagerie (who later married Napoleon Bonaparte) who, in turn, married off Hortense to his brother Louis. Louis was, by grace of Napoleon, King of Holland.*** I have not been able to source this image.
