Album Info:
Dave Peyton, The 1937 Flood's Autoharp player, is also a master of the kazoo, an instrument which fits well with West Virginia's most eclectic string band. (The guys sometimes call the kazoo "the West Virginia saxophone.") Dave would play a key role in a little surprise The Flood had for their hosts, the Huntington Symphony. During the afternoon rehearsal/sound check, Flood harmonicat Sam St. Clair passed out kazoos to the orchestra. In fact, the Kazoo Surprise was Sam's idea.
