The annual January 1ro gathering over journalist Greg Stanford's house is an event not to be missed. It's a multi-room multi-talented and multicultural gathering of primarily journalistas as we chow down on Greg's good food, debate/argue, watch football games, drink the wine, ogle the fine ladies, then mellow out before we hit the road. My adventures of the Travel Griot photo albums were an outgrowth of this event; Greg's wife asked me to gather them up for the 1999 party and it led to this site
