  • I am looking over your pages again and it seems to me that your strongest pieces are your landscapes. I wonder if you feel a special affinity for the landscape as opposed to still lifes, florals etc. All of your scenes involving houses are especially nice: wonderful sence of space moving away from the viewer, a feeling of warmth and charm and great use of color to draw attention to the center of interest. I do watercolors as well and am not good at landscapes so have been studying how you do yours. I occasionally need to include landscape in my paintings and need to improve on it.
