Hi Erik, these are great freehand drawings. You display great art ability and perspective. I see you are going to become a graphic artist, this for me has been a very rewarding career. I recently retired after 40 years in graphic arts (print media ) and loved every day of it. When I was in college, enrolled as a prelaw student I worked nights as a copy boy for the Orlando Sentinel Newspaper in Florida......moved up to chasing high school football games up and down the sidelines with a camera....and later to the advertizing department, in sales, layout and design. In later years moved to advertizing agency work........I looked at your other albums and was very impressed with "ASCONA BY DAY NIGHT"...photo 01..ICE CUBES , is incredible as art and has great commerical potiental for the center piece in great advertizing copy. We have a saying here in the US, when something is good, acceptable, or approved; "its cool".....your photo, ICE CUBE, is one "cool" photo. I loved all your albums and am going to be waiting for more. Thanks for your comments in my guest book.........Gene from Florida

Hello Eric, All I can say is that you sure "have the touch". I can understand why you have chosen graphic art as a career. As part of my own training as an architect and later as part of my professional experience, I have spent many hours with a sketch pad and greatly appreciate your skill. One desire that I have is to eventually get to Europe and to get out my sketch book and watercolors. A major advantage of experiencing a subject this way is that it forces you to really slow down and thoroughly examine it (her/him/them). This, Is something that I'm sure you know. Your drawings of a skate and an ice skate are fantastic. Keep the additions to your albums coming. I really enjoy them. Thanks for your comments regarding my own photographs. I took the photograph of the sailors up on the yardarms of a tall ship in 1976 during the Bicentenial of the United States. The ship is the Coast Guard's Eagle (a Frigate). The ship was stopped at Mount Vernon, Virginia (the home of our first president, George Washington)for a wreath laying ceremony. I have additional pictures of the event taken on a foggy morning from my sailboat on the Potomac River south of Washington, DC. Bye for now, Bill Cable (heyburn3)

Michel
