  • So many art exhibits are in run down facilities; I wonder why? The art stands out brilliantly against the surroundings, maybe that is a reason. Artist Vernon Ah Kee has great detail in his facial portraits. I wonder why the paintings don't include the full head? Artists don't understand me and I don't understand them, though I admire their work.

  • For the first time, this year Biennale of Sydney takes over Cockatoo Island – the largest island in Sydney Harbour and Australia’s the most unusual urban park. A former prison and shipyard, Cockatoo retains many reminds of its past. For this year’s Biennale, 35 artists are utilising buildings and sites across the island. I didn’t like everything there, just a few artists but the Cockatoo itself is very special. But it would be another album.
