Album Description:
Flat bed Scanner Macro experiment . I did some comparisons to a 10. mega pixel camera and found that the old scanner matched or beat it consistently even at 1200 dpi some newer scanners are 4800 dpi up. The scanner did much better at exposure , especially

Thanks for letting me know about this album. It was great joy and very, very interesting how you did it. The funny thing is I am in the market at the moment for a scanner as I would like to scan all my old photographs that I took before the digital age. Just do not know what to look out for as it is only photographs I want to scan and would like to get a good image to upload into my computer.

Hi Marvin!! I just ran the slideshow of this amazing album ... I'm just AGOG!! Fabulous, fabulous shots!!! I'm still having so much trouble wrapping my old-lady brain around how you do this, though!! To me, a scanner is the top part of a copy machine ... and although I can see scanning, and therefore copying, many of these, my mind can't work out how you can photocopy / scan a vase of flowers!! You're going to have to do us all a favor ... if one pic is worth a thousand words, can you shot a regular camera-based photo of yourself SCANNING something?? For addle-brained little old-lady meeee????? LOL!!!

This is yet another amazing album from you. As you know, your 'thinking outside the box' is what life is about. Life through the "eye" of a scanner... very cool. Warm Regards, Your Friend, Peechez

This is one of the most oustanding albums i've ever seen. I would have to say your experiment was a tremendous success. Very beautiful album. I don't know how you did it but it is truly sharp. Some of the best macro work I have ever seen. Thank you for sharing this beauty with me. Hugs linda
