i use mine as a xerox machine of sorts...for my tax returns and to save copies of important letters. the resolution is good. i agree.

Same here on the resolution of cameras and scanners. I'd like to get a newer scanner; still have my very low res digital camera, hope to get a better one this year. I started out scanning my photos, then used the low res digital camera but last year went back to film for "good" shots, lol. You have much more patience than I do!
