Amazing! What an honor that must have been to win tickets to see JK Rowling. I would have been so thrilled. Her story alone inspires me, let alone the awesome books she wrote to inspire the movies. Bog Congratulations.

Wow! I would have loved to hear J.K. Rowling speak! Was it as wonderful as I think it would be? I've heard her speak on TV, and she is interesting and down-to-earth. I'm always happy to read about someone becoming a big success with words (as opposed to some sport). Hers is truly a rags-to-riches story. I think she is a genius to have plotted the entire Potter series before writing the books. I'm thrilled when I read about kids who were poor readers or who didn't like to read at all getting turned on to reading and becoming proficient. So--good for you, my friend! Barbara
