Album Description:
Stained glass is hard to photograph - You need even light and a steady hand, and even when it's done well all the subtlety of the colour is lost. Most of these are abstract "extractions" from windows. Pictures of the windows are included as references.

I found these photos very nice indeed! I think you took some of the nicer pieces of the windows that many people might miss while looking at the overall splendor (especially someone visiting from NM!)and exhibited the intricacies of such an incredible art form. It's very difficult to see some of the most beautiful work when standing on the floor of a church or cathedral and craning one's neck at an impossible angle! Thank you for your delicate work with the camera! Sandy in NM

There seems to be artistic talent in people that escapes in different forms. I have always enjoyed viewing stained glass and have several small wall hangings in my home. There is a large business about a day's drive north of us that takes stained glass pieces on consignment from local artists. It takes hours to just walk through the showrooms. Your album is delightful. - DeeAnne
