Thanks for letting me know I am missed, I miss you all too. I had left most of my photos from Virginia to California & the Hawaiian photos on my son's Storage Drive but the ones I took on the way home are mostly unrecoverable. Whatever I did wiped them off the face of the earth!! I promised Marra I would try to sit down and put together something soon, but my heart isn't in it right now. Thanks again, Hugs, Bonnie

Thanks for your visit, I started to crop that photo but changed my mind. The other one needed a little more attention too but I just wanted to get something up before the weekend was over. That little Yellow Camellia was so petite. They were only about 3 inches when fully opened. There were a few on the ground among the clover. Aha - Puerto Vallarta. Lucky you! I haven't been there for 8 yrs or so but sure do like it. And we saw whales there too, but not close enough to get such great tail shots the way you did. I've found the best whale watching we've done is at Moss Landing, just south of Monterey. We always try in Santa Barbara but usually only see a few that are moving at too good clip to stick around for long. And Alaska's Inside Passage has some wonderful opportunities for whale photos too. I must post mine some day but never seem to get around to it! Thx for the PV memories.

I understand your reticence about living in a big city. Minneapolis is unique however, in that the city is termed the "Urban Forest" and is actually much more beautiful and with more wilderness than the surrounding suburbs or small towns! I regularly see deer, foxes, eagles, raccoons, and all sorts of songbirds on my own block!

Hello Walter & Hellen, I went through a lot of emotions while viewing your three this week. First of all I am grateful to those who made such a sacrifice, then I am angry that war has to even exist, finally I realize that we all need to honor those who went before us and show respect to them. My son just got home from Iraq area and I know the fear that families go through - but thank God I've not been through what the families of the men buried endured.
