My town has done promotions with both bears and dogs. Various civic groups, or private concerns, purchase these animal statues, then decorate them as they choose. Some of the colors and patterns border on the avant garde. The money collected from their sales goes for some community project or charity, and the whole town is decorated with neat sculpture, original in color scheme only (it's the same bear or dog in all incarnations, just different decor). This looks like what you have documented. Thanks for sharing these very neat steeds. Hi Ana, Viewed your new album with the horses. We have a similar display in Grants Pass, Oregon with painted Bears. Hi Ana! Many cities have done similar displays.. with different animals. I've seen both killer whales & bears done here in B.C. There are sure to be much more!
