  • Hello Mr. Very nice pictures you have here...from one of my favorites roadmovies ever! Some friends from USA,Ireland and Great Britain are going to meet in Denver this evening! They all drive 1970 Challengers, and the spirit from the film, formed the trip"Vanishing Point(The return)" Hopefully they start driving on monday 28.sept,take the same route as Kowalski did,and finish in Goldfield,Nevada. You catch those guyes in Facebook on Vanishin Point (the return) Ronny,VP fan from Norway

  • Thank you for your comment OA5599. You HAVE to do that road trip! When you drive west out of Denver, be sure to take the old road before the Interstate was built. I didn't, and will go back there in July 2011 to capture the scenes I missed when Kowalski was chased by the Police on bikes. If you need any help with the locations, just ask.

  • Thank you for your comment eturkis1. If you mean Paul KOLSO, the actor who played a young Nevada Patrolman, then this scene was definitely filmed in Cisco, Utah and not the place in North California you think. Many places out west do look alike (as I have found to my disappointment) but I am absolutely certain the location for this was in Cisco.

  • Fantastic photos from a classic flick. I believe I have found another location on County Road A3 (between Susanville and Alturas, CA) while driving home from Klamath Falls. "Some" of the original Market building (scene w/ Paul Kelso looking out the window before 'the end') is still alongside the highway. Too bad I didn't have a digital camera then, but I knew it when I saw it.

  • Beautiful pictures! VP is one of my favorite movies and I drove through this area last week (Cisco, Austin). Dang, I should have found these webshots earlier before I made my trip! I passed many of these depicted places without knowing they were part of the movie set.
