• Bonjour Ted,i was very interested in seeing your new album my friend,as always, but this time i have one more reason, you see i bought a 30D three weeks ago to replace my Rebel and being so busy at work ,i just didn't have time to test it,i will begin to study it in the week-end,i'd love to have your critic on it,i think we do have the same lenses (Efs 17-85 and Ef 100-400).Your test shots looks great and i can foresee some amazing albums in the near future. Thanks for your visit,i wish you and your family a very Happy Easter!Luc

 • Ciao Dearest Ted, Long Time Since I have had the chance to visit your Guestbook.. The Mighty Canon 30D with the right lenses & filters is a brillent camera that can master even the most truely difficult shots... with studying each cat; of photograhy styles such as still life fully then moving onto movement & light etc.. My Father had me study under him for 3 yrs just on setting up his equipment, doing light testing, tripod levels, lighting & lenses testings.. lol Ted on Still life work only, until he said I could move onto marcos & then landscapes.. good thing I started when I was 4yrs old lol.. as He was a perfectionest with His many projects.. not just in the field of Being a most brillent Photograher.. Ted as far as me teaching others photograhy I have taught the assistants in My Crews when doing field work overseas & most of them are military personal, at my request as I have no time for social graces when in hot spots & have limited time frames to capture everything which is vital to my reports when sending them in for more AID & other civil problems to be exposed, those shoots I would never publish on a public platform such as webshots etc as they are to graghic, when it comes to shooting in some refuge camps where children & adults are starving or already dead.. then there is the violence also which I can hardly stomach shooting, let alone post these horror images as some do for the genral public veiwing. All of this work goes to various Govenment & Church Bodies in Various major Countries & The U.N. to whom I am under contract with & this leaves me more time for my legal work while they lobby for for the monies & manpower for the hard hit areas I have just come out from. All My Work that is posted here at webshots or sold, are shoots or single images I take to unwind from my primary work.. & if I,m pretty wound up still, I get into the more artistic styles that you can see in most of my albums,, it's very calming & I can spend hours on 1 image making over 200 variations proofs before chosing one that I think is the best. When I do Teach Ted it is on International Law [mostly human right cases] at various Uni's & Govenment Departments. That has eased of greatly as many fine Lawyers have risen up & are now such a Great Team in their own right. God never ceases to thrill & amaze me with How Much Power Through His Love can be accomplish'd through his Children who are willing to do as He asks them & not even think to ask Him why!:-)))) LOL Ted I just cracked up laughing here as that is the story of my Life with The Lord.. I always find out the reasons after I do exactly as I am told to do.. I love that. I must go as I have been here quite awhile now & it's 5.15am here & I still have some work to finish before going to sleep.. Have a Wonderful & Very Blessed Easter Ted & Your Lovely Faimly Too.. God Bless & Prosper Your Heart & All Your Heart Desires To Overflowing.. With Much Fondness & Repect, Everfaithfully Bella.

 • Good Morning Ted. This album is great and you have a lot of wonderful images here. Because I don't have your personal email address, I was not able to invite you to visit my newest album of my sheep. When you have time, you might want to drop by for a quick visit. Now that I only have one ewe to deliver, I can enjoy my WS friends again. Hope all is well with you. Lynn, Oregon/USA

 • Hello Ted! The Canon and you seem to get along quite well. The friendship seems to be instantaneous, something like 'Hail fellow, well met' sorta thing. The pictures are colourful, especially the vivid reds. Red is a difficult colour and you seem to have got it with ease. The Amaryllis looks spectacular, so do many of the odds and ends. Wish you all the best with your new acqusition! Best wishes, Suresh

 • Hi Ted, I can see you are having fun with your new camera!! I must say you created some great shots in your playing around shooting a little bit of this and that. I really like #23 the over all shot is great, and the depth of field is fantastic! The Library comment cracked me up too! #34 is lovely, please give Connie my compliments on her adorable arrangment of a very sweet Easter display of bunnies and tulips. Or, was it you that created it maybe...lol I too will be getting a new camera soon, I will check out your choice. Funny I was about to ask you what camera you would suggest when I came to see your latest photos! What did I find...this album! Thanks for your recent visits my friend, always so nice your comments. Take care, Laura

 • Hmmmm... sorry, what is "USM"? Maybe you have lowered the in-camera sharpening? The lenses you use are fast enough to avoid blurring in the pics you have here, so I'm a bit surprised... Ciao! Roberto

 • Hi Ted, This is a telling album. I can tell from these excellent pictures that you are having a blast with your new 30D and that its leaning curve must not be that steep. I can also tell by your wall that you like Great Egrets and Little Blue Herons. Those are outstanding images as well. Congratulations on your new toy. I hear nothing but great things about it. Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your very kind words on my People album. Pam has grown up. That cover picture was taken over 30 years ago and Aidan and James (in the same album are her sons, my grandkids. About the upcoming H season – we’re going to need plenty of luck. I’ve heard in the news that there is a 40+% chance that the Gulf Coast will be hit by one or more this year, but I can’t imagine that it can be any worse than either of the last two years.

 • Hi Ted! It is a wonderful feeling to have a new Camera and your test drive has run perfectly! Well done.. Love the flowers, especially the Petunias and Amaryllis - great shots. What was the old camera that you have put into retirement? Always sad to put an old friend to rest.. But I look forward to many wonderful albums from you now, plus more great Clouds and Sky.. Thankyou for your lovely message and I am pleased you are enjoying my tour of Tasmania. I returned with 1,600 photos so there will be more albums yet, but not all pics will make it to Webshots.. Best wishes.. Gladys, Western Australia.

Again a Canon! Do the exchangeable lenses of your 'old' camera fit for the new one? I see you wandering through and around the house looking for a nice shot! :-) You took wonderful close-ups of the Louisiana Iris and the different Amaryllis, and the cover picture is just breathtaking! My typing skills are for sure not a s good as yours. I managed to type you one message, and as I sent it arrived 3 new messages from You! :-o I am glad your offices are back to New Orleans. A friend told me, there is still a lot to restore in New Orleans. Yes new cameras take time. I should be looking for a new one. Mine is now over 5 years old and it is difficult and VERY expensive to get new batteries. Thanks for looking at Yoav. I think I will miss Yoav's first free walk. In a weeks time they will go with him to New York to visit friends. He sure will not wait for me when there is all America waiting for him! :-) And I think you turned out very well, even without some pictures with your first steps. Now your hair gets the color of mine, slowly slowly you are ready to become a grandfather! And now I go back to my mail. I am just about to finish the mail of the feature day and then are only 48 new ones left!! :-) Have a wonderful time, enjoy every single day of those. They will be remembered forever!- Galit

 • Hi Ted, I can't believe I'm first to comment on your 'test album' for your new TOY, er tool of the trade! Great work and I see you're getting the hang of it very quickly. It was fun to see what subjects you found to practice with, including the 'man behind the camera' - great shot as is the one of your group at work - I'm guessing a timed exposure. Now I can't wait to see your newest album ... off I go.

Judy aka L@dybug, Florida
