I love this album Judy, being a fan of both B/W and sepia. But tell me please, were these taken in camera or did you shoot in colour and convert them in Photoshop? I prefer doing the latter, using Channel Mixer to give extra contrast etc. In these pics of yours, though, the contrast is great to start with. Very nice. Thanks for your long message and we are planning more or less exactly what you said - in other words having several trips away throughout the year culminating in a couple of nights in a swanky resort hotel for our actual anniversary. We decided long ago that we weren't going to buy each other fancy presents as quite honestly there is nothing either of us really needs, so we are spending the money this way instead. Will be far more memorable. On top of all this our grandson Jason is through to the State finals of the Junior Public speaking competition for the 2nd time in 3 years. They are being held next Saturday. If he wins he has to fly to Adelaide, South Australia, about a month later to contest the all Australian championships, as the West Australian representative. We told him a few weeks ago that if this comes about then we will also fly to Adelaide to cheer him on, so that could well be yet another big trip looming up! Incidentally my email is peterdud@iinet.net.au. Unfortunately I don't get spared gardening during this special anniversary year so have to log out now and get stuck into the hedge trimming etc. A man's work is truly never done!! Hi Judy, Thanks for visiting. Yes, this garden is near WFC, on the way to Greenwich Village, and it's new. There are new parks from WFC to Greenwich Village, new buildings, new piers. When I worked in WFC there were few new apartment buildings and parks just around there. Now you can walk all the way along Hudson River at least to Greenwich Village - maybe even farther.
