You may have noticed I have not posted any photos in sometime. A year ago (almost to the day) I had detached retinas/burst blood vessels in both eyes. The last of six surgeries was two weeks ago. I love your work and as I noticed in some of your comments under the photos it appears you attribute your gifting and abilities to the Lord our God. That makes your work even more meaningful to me. It is clearly evident from your earliest albums to your latest that you are progressing wonderfully as an artist. I have also seen the same in my photography. Of course it always helps to upgrade your equipment, haha. I joke that digital photography and technology has made professionals of us all. But it has opened the world to us through websites like Webshots. I will look forward to seeing a photograph or two (or maybe more) transformed into your watercolors someday. Dear Pam, If God decided such that you would be handicapped in one way or another, He sure was generous on the other hand in giving you such talent, ability and capacity. Your work is impressing me a lot by both its quality and its variety and quantity. Congratulations for these beautiful pieces of artwork. For having done a bit of acrylic and oil painting and for "attempting" at a few occasions to do water color, I can fully appreciate the skill involved for attaining the degree you are at. I am honoured that you ask me the permission for eventually using some of my photos as inspiration for water colors. This shows that you were well brought up and that you have a great sense of respect for what belongs to others. In return, let me say that I have a great respect for your artwork and for yourself, as a person. Indeed, instead of lamenting on your fate, you manage to bring beauty and kindness into our often not-too-nice world. This should be an inspiration for many who have a lot and yet, waiste it in fruitless endeavours. In closing, I pray God that He gives you a pleasant life and that He keeps you alive many more years for people to be blessed with your wonderful work.
