Hi, Sam, Thanks very much for sharing this beautiful collection of treasured photos; it is an honor and pleasure to look at them. Thank you, also, for your detailed and thoughtful comments on pictures in my albums on St-Avit-Senieur, Dordogne, and Sommieres, Languedoc, both from our trip to France last year. You commented on our travelling a lot; we basically take one vacation a year, when I take so many pictures that it has been taking me over a year afterwards to organise, select, caption, and post them all! As for the shutters in Sommieres that you noted, they can be used to protect from wind in chilly times, from the sun in the heat, or for privacy when one wants some fresh air at night -- so they are quite versatile. I hope that you are enjoying a delightful weekend! --All the best, Rebecca
Hi Sam...what a great album. Thanks so much for visiting mine and all the kind words you leave me. SO encouraging.
You were asking if there was a state park near the bluffs I captured, no, their just out in the middle of nowhere. BUt I think you may be talking about Mammoth Cave...lots of bluffs there. Thats where I rappelled at.
Have a great weekend!!!

The Quince you spoke of , the fruit that it bears can also be used for making Quince jelly, believe it or not.

Hi Sam, and greetings from Kentucky. I liked your sketch of Bridgeton. I have been in Parke county many times. Are you from Rockville? Take care friend... Darrell
Hi Sam! You pulled my attebntion towards amedeomodigliani who, though he has been dead for a considerable time, put his pictures online, together with a few other famous painters, who are also dead but still quite interesting. Thanks!
Love your album. Thanks for the nice comments in my guestbook. If you would like to be on my webshots email list, sacheeze@midsouth.rr.com. No junk, I promise.
