Hi Ginger. Your works are great! I love particularly your landscapes and still lives. Thank you so much for your appreciation and your suggestions on my sketches. I love water colouring, but most of my sketches are taken live, on the spot, during my trips. I therefore prefer to travel with very simple gear and this is why I normally use crayons or felt tips. Furthermore, I must honestly say that shapes and shadows are my favourite subjects, rather than colours, but this is my very personal opinion, obviously. Hello Ginger,a beautiful album of your artwork,you are indeed a very talented artist and I really enjoyed the album so much.Thank-you for your kind comments in my guestbook and the lead to this album with the painting of the old Pixie House or as it's house name was Harbour Light.It's a beautiful painting and yours was a very kind gesture to donate it to the town,I was unaware of the painting being in a church but will make an effort to find out where the next time I'm down in Boscastle,I would really like to see the original. There was talk shortly after the flood that the lady who owned the old cottage was planning to rebuild it if she could but I don't know the latest on that story.If you are interested in viewing a few albums of the village shortly after the flood and very recent ones after much of the repairs had been carried out,user morrisj 15 has quite a few albums that he has compiled as a documentary of the flood and the rebuilding,worth a look,will have a look at your other albums as time permits,Kind Regards,Rod.

Hi Ginger Thank you so much for writing in my featured album,"Perfect Minnesota Winter Day". Very thoughtful of you. You asked about our cat, Tawny. He was gone for 3 days during some terribly cold and snowy weather. He was a cat that wandered in to our place, and decided to stay. This is his second winter here, under our porch, in a blanketed box, and next to a heated window. He won't come in the house, because he still does not totally trust us, but is so in love with our little dog, Lassie. Anyway, I was convinved that he had gone to Kitty Heaven, and had dumped his food, and felt so terrible. After 3 days, he came back. I was so happy that I put the whole album "Tawny's Back!" on my site. I have looked at this wonderful album of yours. You really are a great artist, with all these gorgeous pieces of art. Dear friend you have outdone yourself with this outstanding painting of the Pixie House in Boscastle - for those of you who are reading this - The Pixie House along with many other historic buildings and private homes, the bridge too - was washed away into the sea during a horrific storm last week - such a sad loss for the village, the locals and the people who used to come and visit there yearly - and first visitors also - it was one of the most photographed houses in Cornwall. Thank You Ginger for this beautiful memorial to a place that can never be brought back - which remains only in the heart and minds of so many people around the world - and locally.
