Salut, The vividness of colour you choose is really nice. I don't know if you used "'guilded' rose" as a type of metaphor, but a "guild" is an association of persons of a particular skill or trade. Thieve's guild, artist's guild. While "gild" is a thin overlay or covering of gold -which is what your picture depicts. I'm not picking on you, attacking you, or any such thing.
