Candi, You have so many amazing photos in this album that have the essence of Gods love and beauty all around us. In my Hand sums it up for me, to be wrapped in Gods goodness and grace, to have the protection of the Almighty is abundant in that picture. Exciting album hun, Luv Vicki

Congratulations. You have a perfect eye for detail. Love those reflections in faucet but mostly the raindrops on your windshield with tree in background. Very original. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Florida. Juliette.

Hi Candi, I love this album, so original. I especially like the Wood Nymph and Winged Sprite. The one of Dave looking toward the Mackinac gives a great feeling of how impressive that bridge really is.

"Boy Playing on Beach", "Blue" and "Empty Street". 3 exceptional photos in a collection so wonderful. It is interesting how we as photographers find the same things to be beautiful and worth registering with our cameras. I have taken many of these same pictures. I used to have 2000+ photos on Webshots and was featured 7 diff. times, but I thought I'd start over, so I too them all off, took a year off from Webshots, and have just recently come back. I really enjoyed this album. I'll come back and look at the other Digital Medley at a later time. Thanks for visiting my albums. Merry in CA.

Hello Candi, Wonderful additions to the album, and you always have some "stoppers&qu ot;, photographs that force a pause to just look, marvel, and enjoy. "Tunnel" ;, "Raindrops On Bannister", "My Perspective", "Playground Equipment", photographs right up there with all the classical great eyes of photography and yours are definitely great. You see things that so many people walk by, look at, pass on, and never see. Beauty, peace, symmetry, asymmetry, patterns, color, viewpoint; I love it! You are having fun with photography, that's great! I am not photographing much for a while, too busy with many irons in the fire, but it is always a pleasure to see what others are accomplishing. The greatest time consumer for us (all of May and much of June so far) is a business venture. My good wife had the idea, got some friends, and then new aquaintances, to work with her on the project (and I help where my abilities fit in), and we set up and are operating a charity resale shop in Manchester. All items are donated, all work is by volunteers, all profits go back into the community Through the Manchester Community Resource Center. It is also the season for the Church Ice Cream Socials, The weekly concerts at the gazebo in the park, organ rallies, the community fair, the famous Manchester Chicken Broil, River Folk Arts Festival and Bingo, it is turning into September again. Sharon, my very good wife, and I have either volunteer worker or coordination fingers in most of these "pies". Keep up the good work; I'll look in again some time. Peace and good will to you and your family. Regards and God bless, Carl

We've got a similar bridge here in Hong Kong but I haven't got a chance to take a shot like that. Besides I'm became a bit slow after that soup kicking insident....you know what I mean...lol. Cheers! Hello Candi, more nice additions. I especially like Chained Sunset and Muted Horizon. Historically, many have argued that photography is not art because the camera controls much of the final picture and the photographer has very little control in the process. I personally think they are full of baloney, and they are especially full of baloney considering the almost unlimited control of digital images with various computer programs. And they completely missed the points of special darkroom techniques, the photographer's choice of viewpoint, composition, exposure, and decision of when to release the shutter. Well, you are utilizing all of these and creating some excellent art works. The "f-64 group" gained a good amount of fame and prestige for sharp, detailed photographs and Ansel Adams is probably the best known for this type of photography. Soft focus, or even outright blur, has usually not been appreciated, except in special effects situations. Muted Horizon is really soft focus and it is beautiful, tranquil and absolutely relaxing. I am going to download it and put it in my desktop group. It looks like you had Mighty Mac all to yourself in High and Mighty, neat! It has been almost 40 years since I crossed on Mighty Mac, where has time gone? (rhetorical question, of course) I don't know how much I shall photograph this summer because of commitments to a project my good wife (and life partner) Sharon has spearheaded. She brainstormed the idea, then gathered some volunteers for a steering committee to oversee and operate a charity resale shop in Manchester. Here is a shortened version of a long story. There were more ups and than downs but there were disappointments and joys as ideas materialized into activities, The expected lease for shop space fell through at the last moment, new smaller space was found and taken, and the shop is scheduled to open 15 May. We are building racks and other displays, taking donations of saleable merchandise, sorting and pricing. It now looks like Sharon and I will be the ultimate volunteers to operate the shop so we shall probably spend much time overseeing and clerking the operation. It is going to be interesting and fun, however. May you have great camera angles, ideal lighting and no missed or bobbled shots. Regards and God bless, Carl

Hello again Candi, When I saw "Vertical!&q uot; and your caption I thought "Mackinac Straits Ferries" but could I trust what I think I may have seen 52 years ago? But still the picture looked familiar somehow. So, I searched and snooped. Go to this site and the picture is explained. www.geocities.com/Heartla nd/Hills/1444/straits.htm Regards and God bless, Carl

Hello Candi, nice additions to a very good album. You have obviously been a busy photographer and having lots of fun in the process. I do like the way you look at the world then you are kind to present it so we can see too. My favorites from recent additions are: "Dizzying&qu ot;, "Creeping Fog", "Promise Of Hope", "Cloistered Windows", "Cold Sun", "Battle Between Darkness And Light". "Vacant Sidewalk" is a great subject for mononchrome, good job. I think "Macro Faucet" is a picture of a photographer having a good time. Did you have your reflection in mind when you started photographing the faucet or was it discovered during the shoot? Keep up the good work. I can testify that spring, it is coming. From your pictures I think you must be in the northern lower peninsula, which I always figured was a few weeks behind us here at the south end of the state. We have Redbuds starting to bloom now and Lilacs showing so Spring is on the way north. Of course we still get temperature swings between 45 and 85 degrees F. Today we have rain, which we need, and 38 degrees F. If you have never looked at her pictures, see "surelyyoujest10 0", she is in the western UP and gets an even later Spring, but very good photographs. Keep well and God bless, Carl

Hi Candi, I really like your new additions, first of all, I appreciate that you said the daffodils are growing among the asphalt, that makes them all the more special and lovely. I also like "Fir by the Lake" I think that photo is beautiful, the tree in the foreground gives it such depth and the lake is a lovely backdrop. Last but not least, I am fascinated by "glowing buds" they look so otherworld, a perfectly lovely shot!!! I really like this album, thanks for sharing it with me, and I hope your weekend is wonderful, Candy

Also, we found “What Do You See” to be very interesting! Just wondering how many people would have noticed your interesting perspective if you had not pointed it out! Very imaginative! Your colors are vivid and bright. You have an awesome array of photos and albums. Thanks so much for sharing them with us! All the best, Bill and Kay

Hello Candi, What a wonderful idea, some of my albums are so boring, all the same thing at different angles, but this is so interesting! My favorite shots are, #10, 13, and 14, I never get tired of trees and skies, and your evening shots are outstanding, it is almost hard to believe that it is still so cold in Michigan, it is really too warm here too soon, and we are very much afraid that it is going to be a longer and hotter summer than usual. another enjoyable thing is in photo #14, the street lights are so picturesque! I love your corner of the world!!! Thanks for the visit, always enjoy hearing from you, Candy
