I totally love and found a new appreciation of fractals this kind is so awesome! I love flames! I am a pyro at heart and so any dancing flickers of light will please my senses in so many ways! I love your titles and make the work have even more meaning. Its like jellyfish of the deep doing the tango, or florescent water bugs mating, or gosh the sky is the limit to make up whatever your imagination wants! Hello Roger, I just had to tell you that yesterday, I downloaded the 'Apophysis thingy',and today I've been experimenting with it ! WOW, I can now understand why you are so addicted to it, it's absolutely marvelous and such fun. I really don't have much of a clue what I'm doing yet but I'm still having a great time. I've done 4 pics this morning and they're quite messy and overdone, how you get yours so delicate and pretty I don't know, but if I keep at it maybe one day I'll get somewhere near as good as you. I shall still keep downloading your pics though. Aren't all the colours gorgeous !I just wanted to say thanks really for getting me into flame fractals. I was going to email you but I couldn't see your address anywhere. If I ever manage to do any pics that I think are worthy I might add them to my abstract albums and then ask you to have a look and perhaps tell me how I'm doing. Roger, just read your note in my guestbook. It made me smile, I've never had anyone 'strangely attracted' to my work before but I shall take it as a great compliment. I do my abstracts by hand on A4 paper using all sorts of materials, coloured pencils. felt tips. wax, charcoal, watercolour paints etc' etc'. I feel a little guilty putting them in 'Art' 'cause to me they are just my 'doodles' but I really enjoy doing them and I love colours, and they do look fairly good as desktops [if you like brightness] The last 2 or 3 that I did, after I'd scanned them into my P,C, I sort of messed around with them in 'Photosuite',using warp, it was a lot of fun. Anyway, thankyou for looking at them and commenting. By the way, I found a few more flame fractals elsewhere, but yours are still the best! The others seemed heavy and overdone, you seem to have a wonderful light touch which makes them almost ethereal and perfect. I'm glad you're addicted to creating them [smile] I can hardly wait for your next batch. Thelma.

I think your flame fractals are absolutely stunning and beautiful !! They are easily the best fractals I have ever seen. I have just downloaded 16 of them and they do look really really brilliant as wallpapers, I love them. I mess around doing abstracts as desktops because I love colours, but your pics would take a lot of beating because the colours are so sharp and yet subtle.
